With the 2014 just hours away, many of us are taking the time to reflect on this past year. The new year offers us the opportunity to make changes to our lives, and set new goals and challenges for ourselves. I stopped making resolutions years ago simply because I never stuck to them. As we age, have children, and experience life, it is a good idea to evaluate your life and make adjustments as necessary. I am at the point in my life where drastic changes need to be made. My New Years resolutions are as follows:
- Live and healthier and more active lifestyle by exercising on a regular basis and introducing more fruits and vegetables to my diet. I am now at the age where my metabolism has slowed down and I have noticed the pounds adding on in my waist.
- Live below my means by not being an impulsive shopper.
- Create/stick to a budget by all means necessary
- I recently saw a savings plan spreadsheet posted on Facebook and it looks doable. I will supply the sheet to those with similar goals.
- Purchase a home by the end of 2014.
What is your New Years resolution?
